Or does "hoga" mean holidays? ;o

First thing that came to my mind was, raptor farming. Wife immediatly corrected me and told me "I will be going after a Mini Polar Bear if it is available." Now I have a problem, raptor farming or happy wife?

Guess will have to wait to see if the quest is there.

ANet is failing at ideas right now, I guess.

Time to roll a Warrior/Ele/Monk/Rit for WINWINWIN. I'll definitely have 1337 Skillz by the end of the weekend.

Would you rather have a weekend of nothing? Anything that takes away the 'grind' for a weekend is awesome. I'm all for it!

Seriously, stop bloody complaining. It doesn't matter what A.Net does, people are still going to QQ about it. How about you write up a list of ideas for weekend events, and send it to them. Better yet, why don't you offer to pay them a monthly fee for their services.

News Flash! Life isn't a silver platter! Omfg 0 rly? 0 noez! I mitez go comit suicid in a roflcopta!

I wonder if the quests will be there again too?

Maybe a chance at the mini polarbear?

I rather have Costume Brawl.

I wonder if Wintersday will include the Wintersday Chest for a chance at the mini polar bear.

Is it Xmas (don't like to call it Wintersday) because we will be getting long due 'gameplay enhancement' presents?

I hope there's something behind this july wintersday other than running out of ideas.

Don't play snowball arenas that much, do you?

That said, gamer points are the one type of grind that I enjoy in this game.

I don't have my Guild Wars over the weekend. No snowball fights for me.

Why?

I live in Australia and right now we are in the middle of winter! We do have "Christmas in July" and it feels right, being cold and having lots of snow on the mountains around me!

Actually I'm typing this with my heater on and a wool jumper on!

So I'll say thank you ArenaNet for thinking of us down under!
(Even if it was unintentional! )
